Sourdough 101 Class
Join Us for a Sourdough 101 Workshop!
Are you eager to master the art of making sourdough from scratch? Join us for a workshop where you'll learn all the essentials of sourdough bread. We will guide you through the process, from creating and maintaining your starter to tips for perfecting the baking technique. We’ll have some fresh baked loaves ready to sample too. This experience is ideal for beginners, curious at home bakers, and kids are welcome!
Event Details:
Cost: £10 per person
Location: Gartcosh Parish Church Hall
Date & Time: May 18th at 2pm
What to Expect:
We will take you through how to maintain a sourdough starter, how to mix dough by hand, the art of fermentation, and how to shape your bread for baking. Loaves will then be baked and ready for collection the following day. We will provide all the equipment needed.
Mark your calendars and come hungry for a great time filled with food, fun, and friends.
